Cynthia L. Moore

Cynthia L. Moore, age 75, a longtime resident of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, in Geauga County, surrounded by the love of her family.

Cindy was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and precious sister and friend. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Earle, and their children Brian, Holly (Dejan), and Kailey. Cindy’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren: Noah, Alek, Aubree, and Jayden; all of whom brought light and laughter into her life. She is also survived by her brothers Bill Camp (Gretchen) and Chris Camp (Andrea) and several nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly. Cindy leaves behind many cherished friends that were family and family that were friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Dorothy Camp, her brother, Ron Camp, and nephew, Welden Camp. 

Cynthia found happiness in the simple things — tending lovingly to her flower gardens, making and sharing home cooked meals, spending time with those she loved, and serving faithfully at her church. Her giving spirit, warm heart, and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service with a funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at St. Bede the Venerable Church at 11:00 am in Mentor, Ohio. A luncheon will follow the service, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Cindy’s life.

In every bloom she nurtured and every life she touched, Cindy’s legacy of love and grace will live on.
