Mark Tresger
April 11, 1956 - April 19, 2018
Mark E. Tresger, 62, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Cleveland. He was born April 11, 1956 in Cleveland, the son of the late Edward H. and Janice (nee Fenton) Tresger. Mark loved music, was an avid sports fan, enjoyed traveling around the USA on his BMW Motorcycle that he called "blue," was a great caregiver, and was loved by many. He is survived by his siblings, Neal (Peggy Jenkins) Tresger, Mary Tresger (Shari Smith), and Kevin Tresger; nephew and nieces, Jordon Tresger, Alexis Tresger, Crystal Stehlik, and Jessica Bowling.Mark was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Randy Tresger and Paul Tresger.
A remembrance party will be held on June 3, 2018 from 3-7pm at the Concord Township Community Center, 7671 Auburn Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
Martin Porozynski
May 20, 1949 - April 17, 2018
Martin J. Porozynski of Brecksville passed away on April 17th after a long illness. He is survived by his brother Philip (wife Cynthia), nieces and nephews of Indiana and also many close friends. He was the son of Eugene and Mabel both deceased. He was former owner of Olde Eight Auto Parts in Northfield OH, he had a passion for mechanics, reading philosophy, history and talking with his friends.
Memorial service: Saturday April 28, 2018 at 10 am at Broadview Hts. Baptist Church 9850 Broadview Rd, Broadview Hts. OH. Private interment. Family suggests donations to your favorite charity or Broadview Hts. Baptist Church.
Susan Maria Mramor
August 14, 1949 - April 16, 2018
Susan M. Mramor, 68, of Madison, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Hospice House in Cleveland. Susan was born August 14, 1949 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of the late Matthew and Viola (nee Bayusz). She was a 1967 graduate of Harbor High School and worked as a Chemical Technician in product testing. Susan is survived by her siblings, Mary (James) Dewhurst of Prairieville, LA, Linda (Michael) David of Amite, LA, and Michael Mramor of Norfolk, VA; nephew, Nicholas Dewhurst; nieces, Nicole Brice and Amy (Mark) Valentine; 4 great-nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Adam Brice; daughter-in-law, Helen Dewhurst.
At her request there will be no services.
Lawrence L. Wilson
January 29, 1938 - April 14, 2018
Lawrence L. Wilson, 80 of Kirtland, passed from this life to eternity on April 14, 2018. He was never able to fully recover from three major surgeries he had in February. Born in Cleveland, Ohio he grew up in Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland, graduating from Shaw High School. Larry joined the Army in 1956 and was stationed in France as a Military Policeman. His high school sweetheart Nancy would join him in France where they were married in February of 1957, and their first child Clifford was born there in May of 1958. Upon discharge from the Army and returning to Ohio, Larry worked as an electrician in Cleveland; he then attended college, graduating from Kent State with a degree in teaching. In 1966 Larry would move his family to Kirtland where his wife Nancy would become the Secretary of Kirtland Middle School for the next 30 years. A daughter, Suzanne, would join the family in 1969. Larry began teaching at Kirk Junior High, then taught at Brush High School from 1967-1979. He started Brush High School’s first electronics program, as well as their initial work study program, (O.W.E.) Occupational Work Experience. Following his teaching career, he joined Raimor Studios, and American School Pictures as their General Manager until he retired in 2004. Larry and Nancy loved to live life together, joining couples golf leagues, training and showing their champion Cardigan Welsh Corgi’s, traveling, cooking, and of course spending time with family and friends. Retirement did not come easy as Nancy would begin to show the signs of Alzheimer’s. Larry loved and cared for her with all of his heart during those years until she passed in 2015. His love, care and devotion to Nancy would solidify his legacy to his children, family, and friends. Lawrence is survived by his son Clifford (Reesa) Wilson, daughter Suzanne (Jim) Yarborough, grandchildren; Tara (Matt) Sheffield, Alexa Wilson, Mitchell Yarborough, Keith Yarborough, Megan Yarborough, and Great Grandson Aaron Sheffield, as well as extended family and friends too numerous to count. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy B. Wilson; his parents William D and Goldie B Wilson, and his brother William D Wilson Jr.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday April 28th, 2018 at The Kirtland Community Center, 7900 Euclid Chardon Road, Kirtland, Ohio from 1:30-4:30. Appetizers and Dessert will be served.
Interment at South Cemetery in Kirtland will be private.

Norbert A. Jerina
Norbert Alan Jerina, 69, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH passed away of natural causes Saturday April 7, 2018. Beloved husband of late Carol Shook Jerina, dear Father of Jacob (deceased), Adam, Amy, and Chelsea; loving grandfather of Jacob 9, Liam 7, and Harper 4.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Parkside Church 7100 Pettibone Road Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 on Saturday April 28, 2018 from 12pm-3pm with a service from 3:00-3:30pm. Lunch will be provided.
Joseph John Evans Jr.
November 18, 1947 - April 1, 2018
Joseph J. Evans, Jr., age 70, of Painesville Township, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at his home.Joe was born November 18, 1947 in Cardale/Uniontown, PA, the son of the late Joseph J. and Louise (nee Piccolomini) Evans, Sr. He faithfully served in the Vietnam War from 1965-1969 in the US Marine Corps.Joe is survived by his wife, Maryann (nee Smith) Evans; children, Joseph, Daniel, Michael and Christen; 10 grandchildren; brother, Steve Evans; many nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Theodora and Christine.
A visitation will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 3-5:30pm with a memorial service to follow at Pilgrim Lutheran Brethren Church, 9514 Johnny Cake Ridge, Road in Mentor.
Karl J. Toth
November 22, 1939 - March 24, 2018
Karl John Toth, age 78, passed away peacefully in his home on March 24, 2018. He was born November 22, 1939. Beloved husband of Antoinette Toth for 55 years. Survivors are daughter Michelle Toth, son John (Shirley) Toth, grandson Zachary Toth, sister-in-law's Kathy Boldisar, Mary Alyce (Dan) Dawson, brother-in-law Joe (Phyllis) Lazar. Karl retired from his own company KT Maintenance in 2010. Karl enjoyed spending time with his family, race cars, RV traveling, shooting guns, and his dogs. Karl served many years on Newbury and Russell Fire Departments as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. Karl was preceded in death by his loving sons Keith Toth and Billy Toth, parents Zolton and Olga Toth, sister Mary Ann Vizy and brother Coleman Toth.
A celebration of Karl's life will be announced at a later date
Margaret A Mohun
October 25, 1940 - March 14, 2018
Margaret (Marge) Ann Mohun, age 77 passed away March 14, 2018. Marge was born in Cleveland Ohio. She was a lifelong Lake County resident. Marge was preceded in death by her mother Margaret (Knalley) Mohun, father John T. Mohun and sister Elizabeth (Betty) Stanton-Morgenstern. She is survived by her nephews John & Don Stanton of Arizona and cousins Rayne Bryla & Tracy Manko of Ontario Canada along with longtime friend Candy Blackstock and many loving friends and family that will miss Marge dearly. Marge loved good food, watching sports, reading books, playing her handheld solitaire game and spending time with friends and family.

June 18, 1930 - March 20, 2018
Dolores E. Fazio , age 87, lived in Wickliffe, Ohio where she resided with her husband, Robert A. Fazio (deceased). Loving sister to John Lieb; loving mother of Linda Fazio (deceased), Sandra Fazio, Cynthia Fazio, Debra Fazio Tripodo (deceased), Toni Fazio-Nero (Raymond); beloved grandmother of Tamara Wilkerson (deceased), Aaron Wilkerson (Carrie), Elanna Pogorelec, Marysa Pogorelec (Lindi), Angelina Nero; dear great-grandmother of Meka Moneme-Wilkerson and Maya Moneme-Wilkerson. She enjoyed sewing and crafting. She loved music and holidays, especially Christmas. She was a wonderful cook and had a smile that would light up a room and make everyone feel at ease. She faced a lot of adversity and loss throughout her life but because of her strength and determination she managed to always rise above it all. She will always remain in our hearts, the strongest woman we have ever known. We love you - soar with the Angels.

Sherry Ann Khas
August 9, 1969 - March 15, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Sherry Khas announces her unexpected passing on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the age of 49. Sherry will be forever remembered by her family: parents Tony & Mary Ann Khas, siblings Antonette, Todd, Chris & Danielle. She will also be remembered by her ex-husband Jon Springer and their children Karli & Colin. We grew up as a very tight-knit family. We spent a lot of time together at our trailer in Marblehead creating wonderful memories. At every family event we still share the numerous funny stories from growing up.
There will be a private family service. If anyone wishes to make donations in her memory, please do so in honor of your favorite charity.

November 11, 1949 - March 13, 2018
Arthur "Art" Charles Mowle, 68, of Painesville Ohio passed away March 13, 2018 surrounded by his family. Art is survived by his daughter Deanna Patton, son in law Bobby and his pride & joy his granddaughter Kaylin. Also, his best friends Kim Mowle, Cindy & Ray Whited, Charon & Stan LeBail, his sister Marti Kleinatland and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Winifred (Bill) Warner and father Ralph Mowle.
No service will be held. A pot luck celebration of life will be held April 21, 2018 at North Perry Park at 12 noon

Karl F. Brewster, 57, of Perry, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2018. Karl was born March 21, 1960 in Madison, Ohio, the son of Frank and Dorothy Brewster. Karl is survived by his mother, Dorothy Brewster; daughter, Kayla Brewster; brothers, Charles Brewster, Norm Brewster, and Richard Brewster. Karl was preceded in death by his father, Frank Brewster.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Friends Church, 2300 Hubbard Rd., Madison. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
Bernadine J. Machock
June 3, 1940 - February 20, 2018
Bernadine J. "Deanie" Machock, , 77, died suddenly Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was born and raised in Elyria and was a long-time resident of Cleveland Hts. She was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, taught in Columbus, was a guidance counselor in Dayton, and retired as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction for East Cleveland City Schools. She is survived by her sister, Patricia McBain, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bernadine Machock; brothers, Jack and David; and sister, Regina Miller. She will be remembered in a gathering of friends and family at a later date.

Isabelle A. Parsons

Isabelle Anne Ciarlillo Parsons (nee Caruso), 96, of Madison, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at Rae-Anne Nursing Home in Geneva. Isabelle was born October 27, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (nee Magistro) Caruso. Isabelle was a Past President of the Fraternal of Eagles in Willoughby and was an avid CB club member in her younger years. Isabelle is survived by her daughter, Mary Anne (Anthony L.) Stagg; grandson, Anthony W. (Kelly) Stagg; great-granddaughter, Katriona Stagg. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Gus Paul Ciarlillo; second husband, Joseph Howard Parsons; siblings, Marie Benjamin, Ralph Caruso, and Virginia Benjamin.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Victory Lane Assembly of God Church, 7550 Bellflower Road in Mentor with Rev. David Bill officiating. A calling hour will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Noon.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
Otto Hantzmann
September 27, 1923 - February 25, 2018
Otto Hantzmann, 94, of Willowick, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family on Sunday, February 25, 2018. Otto was born September 27, 1923 in Budapest, Hungary. The eldest of two sons of the late Ference and Etelka (nee Gyongyik) Hanzmann. Otto enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his five grandchildren along with golfing, traveling, and exercising. He was a hardworking person, and retired as a tool and die maker for Cleveland Twist Drill after 33 years of dedicated service. Otto is survived by his wife, Hildegard (nee Otto) Hantzmann; daughters, Iris (Dennis) Giannini, Kim (Michael) Marhefka; five grandchildren, Tara Giannini, Ryan (Stephanie) Giannini, Adam Giannini, Adrian (AJ) Piazza, and Logan (Antonella) Marhefka; and a great-grandson, Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Sandor (Edith, survives) Hanzmann.

October 14, 1939 - February 24, 2018
Burgess A. Root, 78, of Thompson, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at his home. Burgess was born in Cleveland, October 14, 1939, the son of the late Maurice and Viola (nee Cookson) Root. He graduated from Deming New Lime High School and then served honorably in the US Navy. Burgess lived in Concord Township for many years and was the owner and operato01r of Allen Tool Grinding. He is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Sell) Binns-Root; sons, Brian and Michael Root; step-sons, Jim, Dan, Roger, Stephan, and Kenneth Binns; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Janece Hall; brothers, Wayne and Maurice Root. Burgess was preceded in death by his parents; son, Burgess Root, Jr.; sister, Maureen Fish.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Faith Community Church, 5835 State Route 166 West, Rock Creek, Ohio 44084 with Pastor Steven Maugh officiating. A reception will follow.
Otis White
July 5, 1948 - February 20, 2018
Otis A. White, 69, of Eastlake, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Lake West Medical Center. Otis was born July 5, 1948 in Falling Rock , WV, the son of the late Augustus and Edna Faye (nee Paxton) White . After graduation, Otis served in the US Army during the Vietnam War before being Honorably Discharged. He then worked for ACME Cleveland from 1974 until 1998. He was a very generous person who always thought of others before himself and was a devoted caregiver for both of his parents during their later years. Through the years he especially enjoyed the time spent fishing with his dad. Otis is survived by his sons, Michael R. (Kristen) White and Craig A. White; granddaughter, Olivia R. White; sisters, Cheryl White and Sharon (Marty) McGeever; brothers, Jeff (Connie) White and Steven White. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Augustus and Edna Faye (nee Paxton) White.
Otis will be laid to rest in the Veterans section of Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
Gregori Barks
August 31, 1946 - February 12, 2018
Greg D. Barks, 71, of Mentor, Ohio, passed away on February 12, 2018. He was born August 31, 1946, in Mühlhausen, Germany. He lived in Colorado before moving to Ohio. Greg was an avid fisherman who loved to garden and tell jokes, making friends everywhere he went. He was patient, full of wisdom and honesty. He worked as a Brickmason for The Allied Craftsman Local 16 for over 30 years. Survived by devoted wife, Norma, loving sons, Greg A. and Gary, adoring daughter, Candy, son-in-law, Shannon, Grandcat, Henry and extended family and friends. He was very loved and adored by his family and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Davita Dialysis in Painesville, for your loving care and support.

On Monday, February 12, 2018, Dennis D'Amico passed away at the age of 59 in Euclid Hospital. Dennis graduated from Wickliffe High School in 1976. He is survived by his lifelong companion of 26 years, Jennie Zulijani; sisters, Sharon D'Amico and Diane Hace. Dennis also leaves behind his best friend black lab, Tukon. Dennis will also be forever remembered by his nieces and nephew, Kim Aikey, Holly Curtis, and Scott Hace, as well as other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Frances (nee Coughlin) D'Amico.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February, 24, 2018 at 11:00am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1730 Mt. Carmel Drive in Wickliffe.
