Margaret H. Thome (nee Raycher) age 92 passed away at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland on October 17, 2018. Devoted mother of Michael (Rosanne), Frank (Kelly), Dennis, MaryAnn Van Horne (Tim), John (Jackie), Richard (deceased), Patricia Mayer (Mark); Loving Grandmother of 17 and Great-Grandmother of 29; Loving sister of Richard, Irene, and the following deceased: Helen, Therese Ann, MaryAnn, Frances, Daniel.

Gail Featheringham
Gail Featheringham, age 70, of North Fort Meyers, FL, loving sister, aunt and friend, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Hospice House in Cleveland.
She was born October 28, 1947 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Jack and Norma (nee Lauer) Conrad.
Gail is survived by her sister, Barbara (James) McMahan.
Niece, Kimberly (Andrew) Wright and children, Meredith (John Michael) Honaker & Garrett Wright.
Nephew, Kenneth (Paige) Palladino and children, Nick (Leigh) Palladino & Isabella Palladino.
Also survived by many loved friends and relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 28870 Chardon Rd (Rt. 6), Willoughby Hills, OH. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until the time of service at 3:30pm.

Mark J. Brockway “Lou”
September 7, 1952 - October 20, 2018
Mark (66) peacefully sailed away from this world on Saturday October 20th, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 7, 1952 in New Jersey. Mark was a beloved husband to Jennifer Rose (Grace), recently celebrated 30 years of marriage. Proud Father of Nathan Louis and Emily Grace. His family was his prized possession.
Well known as “Mr. B”, Mark was a school bus driver for 26 years at Cardinal Local School District and pridefully a OAPSE active union member.
Mark had a passion for all sports especially baseball which followed him through his life, from playing on leagues in Meigs County, OH to 21 years of officiating for OHSAA.
Mark was an exceptional cook, he had a huge appreciation of music and it continues to flow through his cherished Huntsburg home. Mark loved to travel, see the world and family vacations were mandatory. From backpacking across Canada to later RV travels with his wife. He was an accomplished horseshoe pitcher. Marks consistent letters to family and friends will surely be missed.

Survived by his wife and two children. Mother, Mary Patricia Gunnell Brockway. Siblings; Deborah Mary Temple, Cynthia Herrmann, Kathleen Bridge, Sharon Reynaga, Anne Schwallenberg, Aunt Irene Falberg, Mother and Father in laws, multiple brother and sister in laws. Nieces and Nephews. Cousins and friends.
Visitation to be held Saturday, October 27th 4 o'clock, service at 6 o’clock at Cardinal Middle School Auditorium in Middlefield, OH. Family burial on Sunday at Huntsburg Cemetery.
Gary A. Scoville
Gary A. Scoville, age 48, of Fairport Harbor, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Hospice House.
He was born October 30, 1969 in Geneva, Ohio, the son of the late Richard and Virginia (nee Smith) Scoville.
Gary was an active member of the Fairport Harbor Congregational Church and in his spare time enjoyed working on his cars and listening to music.
He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl (Steven) Janes and Diane Scoville.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

March 19, 1933 - October 17, 2018
Dearly beloved husband of Margaret (deceased); father of Edward Jr. (Lori), John (Sandy), James (Nancy), and Jeffrey (Karen); grandfather of Joseph (Kimberly), Michael (Lindsay), Gregory, Alexa, Jeffrey, Johnny, and Mark; great-grandfather of Cayden, Evan, Ava, and Addison; brother of Mary Ann Dalton (Richard) (both deceased); companion of Nadia Mutter; brother in law and uncle of many.Edward was a proud US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the 101stAirborne Division.

Kathleen E. Keidel
Kathleen E. Keidel, age 74, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Hospice of the Western Reserve.
She was born March 13, 1944 in Norwich, CT, the daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (nee Palmerick) Churney and has been a long time resident of Eastlake. She and her husband Tom retired to Cape Coral, Florida, where she enjoyed volunteering and socializing with her many, many friends.
Survivors are her children, Derreck (Melanie), Thomas Jr (Pamella), Denise (Bill), and Therese Thompson (Gary). Her Grandchildren Joseph (Marissa), Nella, Thomas III (Carla), Andrew (Lindsay), Damien (Brianna), Brittany (Will), Derreck Jr. (Becky). Great-Grandchildren Keelee, Nicholas, Anthony, Alana, Cameron, Ashton, and Carter. Brother Martin Churney (Jan), and sisters Christine Hill and Karen Churney.
Preceding her in death are her husband Thomas, and her parents Martin and Catherine.
Her family and friends were the light of her life, as she was of theirs. Her compassionate spirit and quick wit will be deeply missed.

Linda K. Barnard
Linda K. Barnard, 76, of Euclid, formerly of Eastlake, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Lake West Medical Center.
She was born June 22, 1942 in Mineral County, WV the daughter of the late Alden and Evelyn (nee Harvey) Barnard.
Linda was a hardworking woman and retired from both KMart and Yanesh Construction. She was also a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In her spare time she enjoyed collecting Native American arts and crafts.
She is survived by her children; Don (Pam) Barnard, Jeff (Sandy) Barnard, Jeanni (Stephen) Blaker, and Sharmalee (Mark) Miller; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Alden and Evelyn (nee Harvey) Barnard; son, Lloyd Barnard; companion, Don Spriggs.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Robert E. Rondini
Robert E. Rondini, age 55, of Perry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his home.
He was born February 17, 1963 in Chardon, Ohio, the son of the late Warren and Ruth (nee Childs) Rondini.
Robert loved fishing, was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, and was obsessed with his tire business. However, above all else, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with everyone.
He is survived by his children; Michelle, AJ, Ashley, and Michael; grandchildren, Gabriel, Dominic, and Guilianna; brothers, Geno, Warren, and Ricky.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and a brother, James.

Roberta L. Hufnagle
Roberta L. Hufnagle, 78, of Euclid, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018.
She was born June 21, 1940 in Bitner, PA the daughter of the late Frank and Maryann (nee Lowther) Volpe.
Roberta was a wonderful, hard working woman who loved taking care of her family in addition to her career at World Almanac where she retired.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. William Hufnagle; children, Jim (Sally) Hufnagle, Doug (Kelly) Hufnagle, Frank Hufnagle, and Judith Krajec; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sisters, Eileen, Janet and Ida.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Virginia.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Willow Lake Church of the Nazarene, 34950 Lakeshore Blvd, in Willoughby, OH. The family will receive friends from 2pm until the time of a video presentation at 2:30pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm.
Dave Williford
Dave Williford, 58, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at his home in Mentor where he resided with his 2 nieces.
He is survived by many family members and friends.
Dave was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and Food Guru. He loved to watch Food Network and NCIS. He loved his job as a machinist and enjoyed building his own computers. He loved spending holidays with family and having cookouts.
He will be loved and missed by many.
Bonnie E. Walker (nee Welch)
Bonnie E. Walker (nee Welch), age 81, formerly of Eastlake, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at UH Medical Center in Cleveland.
She was born October 6, 1936 in Banner Elk, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Clifford and Margie (nee Byrd) Welch. Bonnie lived in Eastlake for many years where she raised her children before moving to Chardon after her husband passed away in 2008.
Bonnie was a wonderful homemaker and loved spending time with all of her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Bill) Bailey, Jim (Chris) Walker, Janice (Jeff) Greco, and Patty Ingram; grandchildren, Andrew & Patrick Walker, Hunter Greco, and Kelly Guy; brother, Jerry (Pat) Welch.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Walker and brother, Charlie Welch in infancy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
She will buried with her husband in Clarks Creek Cemetery back home in Banner Elk, North Carolina.
Beverly P. Phillips (Thayer)
November 28, 1935 - September 10, 2018
Beverly P. (Thayer) Phillips, age 82, of Painesville passed away peacefully September 10, 2018 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby. “The Bev” was a lifelong resident of Lake County who was loved by her family and beloved by her extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, one “Little Fricker”, and many special friends that she made throughout her life. She is survived by her sister, Joanne (John) Seibel of Lodi, CA; children Joy (John) Kanuk, Stephanie Phillips, Steven (Laura) Phillips; Grandchildren, (Bev called them her "Jewels") Alyssa Phillips, Jessica Kump, Connor Phillips, Jacob Kanuk, and Sierra Phillips. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Phillips in 1968, and husband of 25 years, Steven A. Phillips in 1988; sisters, Virginia Johnson, Elaine Joyner, and Shirley Mae Thayer; and brothers, Vernon Thayer, James Thayer, and Donald Thayer.
A private memorial service is planned on October 6, 2018 at The Willoughby SDA Church, 37742 Sharpe Ave, Willoughby, OH. Interment of ashes will be at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights, Ohio
Ernest John Hrdlicka
Ernest John Hrdlicka, age 67 of Sagamore Hills, OH passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2018.
John was born on May 29, 1951 in Cleveland, OH. He was raised in South Euclid where he graduated from Brush High School. He worked for the American Heart Association for many years.
He enjoyed gardening, where he would grow all types of flowers and vegetables. Every year, he used his home grown tomatoes to make his very own homemade sauce. He truly had a green thumb. He was a great artist who loved making Halloween masks and props. Fall was his favorite time of the year. He was always up for an adventure, especially with his sidekick Lily. He could fix just about anything and was incredibly handy. He was very loved by many and will be forever missed.
He was the beloved life-partner to Mae Dolphin of Sagamore Hills, OH for over 30 years and is also survived by son Anthony “Tony” Hrdlicka (Candice) of Virginia Beach, VA, daughter Nicole Hrdlicka (Andrea) of Concord Twp., OH, grandchildren Anthony (Nicole), Hero, Peyton, Dillinger and Brooklynn Hrdlicka, sister Susan Hrdlicka Linke of Willowick, OH, faithful friend and housemate Barbara Nash of Sagamore Hills, OH, his dachshund Lily and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Hrdlicka of Spring, TX, father Frank Hrdlicka of Streetsboro, OH, sister Josephine Smith of South Euclid, OH and nephew Lee Sullivan of Willard, MO.
A celebration of life will be held for John at a later date.

Mrs. Lorraine (Spotts) Getty , of Painesville, Ohio, born on September 23, 1932 in Glen Campbell, Pennsylvania, to the late Lillie Belle Kerr and the late Sharpe Elmer Spotts, passed away at age 85 on August 28, 2018 in Painesville, Ohio. She was a Cafeteria Worker at Mentor Schools. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Frank A. Getty, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Getty and Valerie Shook (Terry); brothers, Blaine Spotts and Franklin Spotts (Catherine); grandchild, Melody Lynn Beashua (Leroy Peyton). She is also survived by sister-in-laws, Shirley Stewart (Lee) and Rose Behm and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She had a passion for crochet and crafts and spoiling her granddaughter.

Randal A Brosch, age 54 lifelong resident of Leroy OH passed away peacefully on August 11, 2018. Randy was born in Leroy, Ohio on July 5, 1964 to Robert and Shirley (Thompson) Brosch. He is preceded in death by both his parents and grandparents. Randy is survived by his two children, Charlie and Olivia of Munson, Ohio, sister Deb (Bill) Stute of Leroy, brother Chuck (Diane) Brosch of Leroy, Nieces Kristy Saunders and Kim (Shaun) Kallay and Nephew Billy (Michelle) Stute. Randy’s love for his children extended to his great nieces and nephews as well. Robbie, Dennis, Kaitlyn, Grace, Abby, Athena, Luke, Rosie and Miles. Randy was a retired firefighter from the Leroy Fire Department as well as a skilled carpenter and avid photographer. He was well known for his circle decks and many of his photographs won local awards.

Raymond G. Headley, Sr.
Raymond G. Headley, Sr., 78, of Painesville, Ohio passed away on August 6, 2018 from a short illness.
Ray was born in Painesville, Ohio on January 11, 1940 to Raymond I. Headley and Kathrine Kilty. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles R. Headley of Georgia. He is survived by his six children Raymond Jr. (Mary) of Eastlake, Allen (Phyllis) of Iowa, Opal (Tim) Phillips of Jefferson, Daniel of Harpersfield, Laura of Geneva and Richard (Tina) Sullivan of Saybrook; five grandchildren John, Robert, and Chloe Headley; Ashlynn and Tristen Phillips, two great-grandchildren Laura and John Headley, and brother William A. Headley of Madison.
Ray served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1965 as a motor pool mechanic in Germany. He retired from Royal Plastics in Mentor. More recently, he kept himself busy as a handyman at the Perry Senior Center.
Ray will be remembered for his easy going personality, humor and helpfulness. In his spare time, Ray enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, spending time at Perry Senior Center and sharing spirits with friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Beverly and Scott Zieske who cared for Ray during much of his illness.

Norma Jane Dent Cowan
Norma Jane Dent Cowan passed away at the Hospice of the Western Reserve on August 1. She was born July 18, 1928 in Leesburg, Ohio. Her father, Virgil Dent, was a vocational agriculture teacher and her mother, Marjorie Neill Dent, taught special needs children. She grew up in a home that valued books, education and learning, and she passed that on to her own four children.
Norma received her bachelor's degree at Miami University and her master's degree at the University of Wisconsin. Norma loved literature, Shakespeare, the classics and current fiction and nonfiction. Norma was also deeply engaged in the arts - she loved the theatre, museums and opera.
Norma spent many years teaching English at Euclid Senior High School. Upon her retirement, she and her husband Dick spent several years teaching in Tarsus, Turkey and then on the Navajo Reservation in Sanders, Arizona. Norma and Dick had a rich social circle for the 54 years they lived in Euclid as they were deeply interested in others, and generous and loyal friends.
Norma is survived by her daughter Jane Cowan (Charlie Gore); her daughter Marcia Cowan (Paul Muessig); her grandsons Zak Cowan-Gore and Andrew Cowan-Gore; and her granddaughters Elizabeth Weal, Tessa Weal, and Alexandra Cowan. In addition to her husband Dick, her sons Richard and Robert predeceased her.
A service for Norma will be held at Eastshore Methodist Church, Euclid, on September 8 at 3:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the Henn Mansion.
